BACKGROUND IN THE WINE INDUSTRY:
I have worked in the restaurant industry since I was 15 - everything from McDonald’s to fine dining. I fell in love with wine while serving at a wine bar at 21 and got into a wine buyer position at 24. I’m in my dream job now at Noble - visiting incredible restaurants, meeting interesting people, tasting wine from all different regions, travelling, and of course studying!
MOST MEMORABLE WINE EXPERIENCE:
Drinking vintage cava at Parés Baltà — an extremely meaningful visit for me after serving their wine on the floor for so many years!
BEST DISH YOU CAN COOK
Tomato spinach and sausage risotto - and arancini the next day if there’s any left over!
THREE PEOPLE YOU WOULD MOST WANT TO HAVE DINNER WITH, DEAD OR ALIVE:
Can we list three restaurants that have closed that we want to have dinner at?? Apologies to my dining companions - I am always so focussed on the food, the ambience, the wine list, the service... But I would dream to take my grandparents Zena and Florian, and my daughter out for a fancy meal. My grandfather would have LOVED her!
